Because Your Brand has a story to Capture
When my Grandfather gave me a hand-me-down Kodak film camera for my 8th birthday, something just clicked.
I loved messing about with that camera and was totally intrigued by photography.
Flash forward to 2001, and I found myself in a dark room, developing traditional film, at a photography night class.
I knew then, I wanted to develop this passion into more than just a hobby.
In 2009, I left my job as a 3D graphic artist to start RJM Photography - and I've been documenting businesses and creating visual assets ever since.
I found my niche in Commercial Brand Photography. Bottom line is I love helping other businesses to stand-out, feel more confident about their brand and make more sales.

I get uncomfortable being in front of the camera (so I know how important it is to get the right person behind it!)
Getting great shots of you is as much about how you feel as how you look. I'm a calm, friendly person with a relaxed smiley approach. And feeling at ease is one of the main things that my clients say they love about their sessions with me.
I've been told that I'm intuitive and I'm good at 'getting' the needs of the brand, even when the client doesn't really know themselves what they want.

To celebrate our region’s talent, I recently designed and published a dedicated magazine featuring a selection of the incredible women I’ve photographed. This project perfectly combines my graphic design roots with my passion for brand storytelling.
I’m a champion for our local economy. Every shoot is an opportunity to show the world the innovation, beauty, and talent that exists right here in the North East. I don’t just take photos of businesses; I advocate for their growth.
I'm a curious explorer at heart.
I love being outdoors, travelling, exploring Northumberland, canoeing, coaching young girls in paddlesports, wandering in woodlands and climbing to the top of hills. I see my business as one big adventure - and it's taught me to step out of my comfort zone.
I'm a creative soul.
I spent hours painting in my bedroom as a child, and my first job was as a graphic artist. Although, now commercial photography has taken the lead in my career, I do like dabble in art in my spare time. I have a passion for all things arty and love to see what others have created too.
